My Top 10..Erg...11.. Whedon Characters

Let me just tell you right away: Buffy won't be on this list. Yeah, she's BUFFY, but she's just not, personally, the most interesting. So here goes:

11: Lorne (Angel): Lorny adds a bit of magic and charm to every scene. RIP Andy Hallett.

10. Jayne Cobb (Firefly): I must have my comic relief, as you will see from the rest of my list. Jayne is hilarious, but also has a bit of a dark side, which provides a depth to his character. I also love Adam Baldwin (www.twitter.com/adamsbaldwin) as Casey in Chuck. Adam Baldwin IS John Casey, BEAST OF THE WORLD.

9. Rupert Giles (BTVS): What can I say? He's sweet, adorable, and how bout that episode with him and Joyce? GIT SOME GILES! Although I wish he had better taste in women when it comes to Jenny Calendar (she would be #1 on my list of worst characters) hooking up with Joyce was an ace move. 

8. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce (BTVS/Angel): I much prefer the post-Buffy Wes. I always cry for him in Season 5 of Angel when he finally gets Fred and then...ILLYRIA DOOM. ): I am fairly sure that the fact that Alexis Denisof is married to Alyson Hannigan (Denisof)  and that they have a BEAUTIFUL BABY is around 25 percent of the reason that I like Wes so much. 

7. Anya Jenkins: BUNNIES BUNNIES IT MUST BE BUNNIES! Love Anya. But poor girl! Can't she catch a break? Buffy closer left me SHOCKED. Joss' swift killings of major characters is part of what he is known for, but nevertheless, I was brokenhearted. Anya and Xander may not be perfect, but they are perfect for each other. Feel free to awwwww. *awwws at self*

6.  Cordy Chase (BTVS/Angel): Again, I prefer the Angel-version of Cordy. I used to be a Buffy/Angel girl, but as Cordelia and Angel's relationship progressed, I became a Cordy/Angel girl! I think how her character evolves, but still keeps the major parts of her personality was a major stroke of genius on the part of David Greenwalt and Joss.

5. Malcolm Reynolds (Firefly): Who doesn't love Mal? He is the man of everyone's dreams (even guys! ADMIT IT), plus we got to see his patoot in an episode! If that's not enough to make you appreciate the, again I will use this word, GENIUS, that is Firefly, then I couldn't tell you what would. 4. Spike/Randy Giles (BTVS/Angel): Spike is my favorite of Buffy's, I will call them LOVERS, and must make this list. Everyone knows why he is so amazing, thus, I will not explain my reasoning. It is surely the same as yours. Hehe Randy Giles. 

3. Dr. Horrible (Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog): Alrighty, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE Neil Patrick Harris. He comes in as #2 on my favorite actors of all time, with only Anton Yelchin beating him. And THAT, my friends, is saying something. Dr. Horrible is almost as AMAZING as NPH, thus, he has to come up fairly high on this list. Or low. Whatever. Follow NPH: www.twitter.com/ActuallyNPH. 

2. Harmony (BTVS/Angel): You can't possibly be surprised. As far as comic relief comes, Harm is right up there. I AGAIN, like her in Angel far more than in Buffy. One of my favorite episodes of all is the Harmony centric episode in Angel S5...and...not gonna look up the episode name. (:

1. Andrew! (BTVS): Episode 16 of Buffy Season 7, Storyteller, is what truly made me an Andrew fan. Watch it! It is insanely funny, yet is a brilliant, almost outside look into the lives of the Scoobies, at an extremely climatic time of the show. Andrew is truly kindhearted, sweet, funny, and caring.
